3vs3 PVP Arena

The new PVP arena has been designed such that each player's skills will have a greater impact on the outcome of the battle. For details, please refer to the earlier post.


Glyph Set Change System

A new system has been implemented to allow a Glyph set change on the go to suit different needs.
Up to 5 Glyph sets can be saved on the Glyph tab of the Skills window.
A new item 'Fruit of conversion' will be used each time a Glyph set is changed.
Glyph sets cannot be changed during battle
Fruit of conversion can be purchased from a vendor.


Gathering/Extraction/Crafting Refinement

Focus of this refinement was placed on player convenience, and it will continue in the future to increase efficiency of crafting.
Crafting ingredient simplification: class specific ingredients have been combined to be general level specific ingredients


Potion Cooldown Changes and Availability Changes

Potion cooldowns have been separated into the following 4 groups: Healing Potions, Healing Draughts, Mana Potions, Mana Draughts
Cooldown timers have been decrased as follows:
Healing Potions, Mana Potions: 60 seconds
Healing Draughts, Mana Draughts: 180 seconds

Holism Potions can no longer be crafted. Existing Holism Potions can still be used and will share timers with Healing Potions.

Potion Crafting cost changes: the amount of ingredients required to craft potions have been adjusted.

Draught Crafting change: draughts can now only be crafted using specific draught recipes. To craft 1 draught, it will require 1 high quality gathering item along with a vendor bought draught kit.

Gathering changes:
Gathering now yields more materials per gathering attempt.
Plentiful gathering spots have a higher chance to yield high quality materials

Monster/Extraction material rate change:
The amount of materials dropped by monsters has been decreased.
The amount of materials given from extraction has been decreased.

A new scroll recipe has been added that increases gathering speed when used.

PVP Immobilize (Stagger)/Knockdown Skills List
Class Balancing and Other Tidbits Imokd
The above list only applies in PVP. In PVE, skills that cause Immobilize and Knockdown have not been changed.
Skills not listed in the chart above do NOT cause immobilize or knockdown in PVP.


Retaliate: When using retaliate, a 2 second buff is given that gives immunity to knockdown.


Invincible/Invisible Applied to Evasion Skills
In addition to evasive skills, backstep and teleport jaunt have been given invincibility. Below skills are affected:

Lancer: Backstep
Sorcerer: Backstep, Teleport Jaunt
Archer: Backstep
Mystic: Teleport Jaunt
Priest: Backstep


PVP Damage Adjustments
The following skills have been adjusted in their damage in PVP:

Effect duration change for lock-on skills
In PVP, the duration of the effect caused by certain lock-on skills will decrease with more targets:

With 1 target, the duration lasts 100%.
With 2 targets, the duration lasts 70%.
With 3 or more targets, the duration lasts 50%.

Affected skills:

Sorcerer: Time Gyre
Mystic: Sonorous Dreams, Curse of Confusion, Mire


Effect landing probability change in PVP
In PVP, unless a player has a buff that increases their resistance to an effect, an effect will land at a rate greater than 90%.

Conjunct Gear PVP Balance Changes:
To offset the change in Immobilize/Knockdown of this patch, certain PVP stats on Conjunct Gear has been increased.
Victor's set also received a minor defense increase.

::Class Changes::


Warrior
Skill cooldown changes:
Cascase of Stuns: 30 seconds > 20 seconds
Backstab: 30 seconds > 20 seconds

Additional Effect changes:
Mangle: 25% > 15%
Combative Strike: In PVP, added effect of 50% HP restoration decrease
Staggering Counter: In PVP, the effect lasts 3 seconds (down from 5)

Lancer
Skill cooldown changes:
Chained Leash: 60 seconds > 70 seconds

Additional Effect changes:
Debilitate: In PVP, added effect of 50% HP restoration decrease
Menacing Wave: 30% > 15%
Shield Barrage: In PVP, the effect lasts 2 seconds (down from 3)

Other Changes:
Charging Lunge: Charging Lunge will no longer go through a target.

Slayer
Skill cooldown changes:
Backstab: 20 seconds > 25 seconds

Additional Effect changes:
In Cold Blood: In PVP, damage increase has been lowered from 15% to 5%

Berserker
Additional Effect changes:
Fearsome Shout: In PVP, the effect ends when the target is hit.
Inescapable Doom: Effect lasts 6 seconds (down from 7)
Mocking Shout: Additional effect of complete immunity against weakening effects.

Other Changes:
The following skills can now be used even if under the effect of Inescapable Doom:

Priest: Fiery Escape
Archer: Breakaway Bolt
Sorcerer: Glacial Retreat


Archer
Additional Effect changes:
Stunning Trap: 5 seconds > 4 seconds
Restraining Arrow: Attack speed decrease has been lowered from 50% to 15%
Sniper's Eye: In PVP, damage increase has been lowered from 20% to 15%, no longer consumes 10MP per second.
Eagle's Eye: In PVP, damage increase has been lowered from 20% to 15%, no longer consumes 10MP per second.

Other Changes:
MP gain from Arrow skill is now 1.5 times greater than before.
MP gain from Rapid Fire and Final Salvo is now 2 times greater than before.

Sorcerer
Skill cooldown changes:
Mindblast: 30 seconds > 20 seconds
Nerve Exhaustion: 120 seconds > 60 seconds
Burning Breath: 30 seconds > 20 seconds
Time Gyre: 60 seconds > 20 seconds

Additional Effect changes:
Nerve Exhaustion: Changed from "basic attacks" to "all skills", lasts 4 seconds (down from 10)
Time Gyre: In PVP, the effect lasts 5 seconds (down from 7)
Mindblast: In PVP, the effect lasts 6 seconds (down from 10)

Other Changes:
Mana Volley: No longer costs MP to use.
The projectile speeds of following skills have been increased: Ice Needle, Void Pulese
Lightning Trap will now explode/trigger immediately after casting.
Painful Trap casting time has been decreased, and will now explode/trigger immediately after casting.
The following skills can now be used even if under the effect of Time Gyre:

Priest: Fiery Escape
Archer: Breakaway Bolt
Sorcerer: Glacial Retreat


Priest
Skill cooldown changes:
Guardian Sanctuary: 60 seconds > 40 seconds
Ishara's Lullaby: 35 seconds > 30 seconds

Additional Effect changes:
Fiery Escape: Movement speed decrease has been lowered from 70% to 20%
Guardian Sanctuary: Additional effect of complete immunity against root/movement effects. Now lasts 5 seconds (down from 30)
Ishara's Lullaby: The effect now lasts 8 seconds (down from 10)

Other Changes:
Focus Heal now uses 600MP (up from 338)
Purifying Circle now uses 600MP (up from 375)
Heal Thyself and Healing Immersion now heals 10% less.

Mystic
Skill cooldown changes:
Arun's Vitae: 5 seconds > 8 seconds
Arun's Tears: 5 seconds > 8 seconds
Sonorous Dreams: 35 seconds > 30 seconds
Curse of Confusion: 180 seconds > 60 seconds
Mire: 60 seconds > 30 seconds

Additional Effect changes:
Curse of Exhaustion: The effect now lasts 8 seconds (down from 25)
Curse of Confusion: In PVP, the effect ends when the target is hit.
Mire: The effect now lasts 8 seconds (up from 6)

Other Changes:
Titanic Favor now uses 500MP (up from 350)
Arun's Cleansing Touch now uses 500MP (up from 125)
Arun's Tears now uses 250MP (down from 500)
Sonorous Dreams now uses 625MP (down from 750)
Curse of Confusion now uses 700MP (down from 875)
Mire now uses 625MP (up from 375)
Warding Totem now uses 600MP (down from 900)

The range of all Auras has been increased to 30m. Affected Skills: Aura of the Merciless, Aura of the Swift, Aura of the Unyielding, Aura of the Tenacious

Arun's Vitae and Arun's Tears Changes

Animation speed of both skills have been increased by 25%
Arun's Vitae now lasts for 5 seconds (down from 7)
Arun's Vitae's healing power has been increased by 30%


Skills with effects that cannot be cleansed/removed:

Lancer: Menacing Wave
Berserker: Fearsome Shout, Inescapable Doom
Sorcerer: Burning Breath
Archer: Velik's Mark, Restraining Arrow
Mystic: Curse of Exhaustion, Curse of Confusion
Priest: Plague of Exhaustion

::New Gear::

Bloodstained Champion's Set has been added. This set can be purchased with points from the new 3vs3 PVP Arena.
Jack's Mercenaries Set has been added. This can can be purchased with points from the Jack's Mercenaries Guild faction credit.
Elder's Engineers Set has been added. This can can be purchased with points from the Elder's Engineers Society faction credit.


::Quests::

2 new factions have been added. Each faction has daily quests and their own reputation and credit.

Jack's Merchants Guild [Cutthroat Harbor]
Elder's Engineers Society [Allemantheia]


::Other Changes

When browsing the Auction House, item window now shows the vendor price.
Bargain chat tab will now flash when receiving an offer.
Dungeon list in dungeon finder has been modified.
While changing the template of an item (or dying an item), you can now rotate and zoom in/out using the mouse.
